Adler Centre for Dispute Resolution test

The local knowledge people

Adler Consulting Group Pte Ltd is a company incorporated in the Republic of Singapore. It was initially established as a partnership firm in 2001. Adler is wholly owned by Singaporean shareholders but is advised by a panel of overseas experts. This way, the company is able to capitalise on the reputation of Singapore as an ethical and transparent country, yet able to promote exchange of overseas expertise and knowledge. Adler is a non-governmental organisation and does not have foreign influence to promote subversive political ideologies.

The purpose of Adler is to function as the practice and knowledge hub in the area of international dispute resolution. Practice alone is insufficient and can often be deficient without education. Whereas pure academic alone can be impractical without practical treatment. Adler is also a highly accredited and recognised organisation by both the professional and academia, globally; making it the only such organisation in this region.

Drawing from the values and benefits of this concept, Adler Consulting Group (ACG) currently handles arbitration cases, dispute resolution consultancy & advisory, cross-border trade & investment related consultancy,  consulting services to local & foreign lawyers and post arbitration mediation cases. It is not set up as a law corporation/ firm within the framework of Singapore's Legal Profession Act (Cap.161) ; it does not make representation in Singapore Courts and does not hold itself out to offer legal services as advocates & solicitors  promulgated under the Legal Profession Act of Singapore.

On the other hand, Adler Centre for Dispute Resolution (ACDR) is the education arm now handling all aspects of executive education & research as well as taking over all education portfolios previously under ACG. It also publishes books and journals on international dispute resolution. It is not an arbitration centre and does not administer dispute resolution proceedings.

Adler is currently in partnership with key strategic universities, professional bodies and practice organisations locally and overseas. At home in Singapore, Adler is recognised and accredited by various respectable professional and governmental organisations.

"THANKS, BUT NO THANKS" - important notice (2007):

Over the years, we have received calls requesting for assistance to represent parties in legal actions. We are NOT LAWYERS and does not provide such services. Kindly refer to the Singapore Law Society web portal or its annual directory for information about Singapore lawyers. We appreciate your kind intention though, thanks. Nevertheless, we are certainly very interested in any alternative dispute resolution matters such as  negotiation or mediation; as well as arbitration.
